Tyvangela Hopkins, LCSW-C a licensed Mental Health Practitioner based in Baltimore, Maryland - is here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. Born and raised in one of Baltimore's inner city communities and educated in the public school system, Tyvangela developed a passion to help others discover and connect with their strengths to grow both personally and professionally.
Serving more than a rewarding decade in restaurant management, while pursuing her educational goals to become a social worker, she discovered that teaching the necessary tools and providing encouragement to others, to be better versions of themselves would bring about positive change. She decided to embark on a path to help others understand that your mental health is priority, your happiness is essential, and your self-care and self-growth are necessities.
In short, GROWTH IS INFINITE & LIFE IS WELLNESS.
Tyvangela attended Sojourner-Douglass College for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She moved on to pursue a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore.
Since 2012, Tyvangela has provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. Patient well-being is her number one priority, and she will go above and beyond to provide support and resources to help them through all their obstacles.
